I consider being alive to be an incredible achievement in itself - so I certainly agree that we are all ALREADY successful. We are already bathed in excellence! Now it is just a matter of channeling that energy towards more greatness.

Nelia,

The equation really is about value isn't it. Simplicity, changeable and sociable add to my idea of success like this:

Simple: I think we often make things way to complex, either by choice or by accident. I use a couple of einstein's quotes to think about trying to keep things simple....

"Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler." ....... and “If you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough”

Changeable is about being willing to adapt and move as new evidence or new influences emerge, I am not aware of one successful person, product etc that has not adapted and changed over time to take into account a changing world and changing circumstances, if you don't change .........

Sociable is similar, I do not believe you can be successful if you are not willing to be engaged with those around you.

Thanks for the comment, hope I have answered your questions.

Thanks Ben, with the amount of medical stuff that my family deals with as a result of Samuel's brain injury and ongoing complications, I really do appreciate the complexity of the human body and what a success it truly is.

Appreciate the message.

I with Ben. I'm all about the value exchange. For me, success = meaningful contribution.

Your equation is quite interesting. Curious. How does simplicity, changeable and sociable add to your idea of success?

Mick

It's amazing to me the complexity of the human body. I used to be a Medical First Responder and after studying so much for so long it's outstanding how success our bodies are.

My idea of success directly related to amount of value that other people feeling I put in to life. If others feeling that I'm adding a lot of value then I see myself as successful. It's not about money or possession but about value.

Great post
