Very interesting, doorways are a relatively new thing for human beings compared to the million of years we've lived. Interesting that we still compartmentalize just by crossing a doorway. I wonder if this means that my back and forth to the kitchen means I'm forgetting everything along the way.

Good on you...I wish you every continued success... and yep you can only change when you are ready and want to, NOT because you feel you have to!

I completely agree! Every year I have been in the 100 percent because I always felt obligated to change because of the new year, well I learned that it doesn't work that way! This year I hope I def to continue to be on that 8 percent because about 2 months ago I started the new me. A person has to be ready and want to do it not because they feel they have to! So my new MOTO is change for you not the new year! I have currently been sober for 2 months, quit smoking a month and a half ago, I run a mile and a half every night and I eat healthier, plus I no longer talk to the people you would call ur friends and that just naturally fell into place! So by doing all of these things I really truly love myself and no one will ever take that from me again!

Hi Michael - I 've had a glance at your blog, and Jo-ann's. You both are shining examples of outstanding courage, bravery and honesty...I've read your entries and I'm left a little teary, deeply moved but ultimately amazed. You guys are true testaments to the resilience of the human spirit and the strength and value of family. Wishing your family a very Merry Christmas and New Year.
