Seagull on wing
As ocean birds sing
Horizon dark
In starlit canopy arc
Port and starboard roll
As ocean swell exacts it’s toll
Harbour lights as beacon
Crescent moon as deacon
Dark ocean ink
As salve for a quiet drink
That absolves
Transgressions, new and old.
