Missing words

A few posts back I wrote about cascading words and how sometimes it is impossible to stop the words flowing… But sometimes words fly by and it’s impossible to capture them and when it happens…they taunt…. This is that process.

Missing words

Fleeting,
Briefly through my mind
Enticing
Seducing
Then hard to find
Reaching
Grasping
Trying to recall that line
The rhythm
The meaning
Suddenly lost for all time.

Insomnia

darkness

Darkness reflected

Insomnia

Darkness,
reflected,
by the pale tint of white,
Quitely,
intently,
observing you,
I sigh…

An all too familiar experience for many. To fellow travellers of the sleepless night… I wish you sweet dreams (eventually), may sleep come when you need it most.
